A warm and witty celebration of Sue Townsend's life and writing, the story is told with the help of children from Sue's old school, her friends and family, as well as the comedy and literary stars she inspired - including Stephen Mangan, Ian Hislop, David Nicholls, Isy Suttie and Adrian Scarborough. Drawing on Sue Townsend's own archive of letters and notebooks, the film also features unseen photographs, footage and even her appointment diary, which includes poignant entries about her struggles with ill health, written in a humorous style instantly recognisable from her books.

Akiho Takeda is assigned to #3 investigation team for The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. On her first day at work, a burglary takes place at a jewelry store in Shibuya. The case though is taken by the #1 investigation team which Akiho hoped to join. Nevertheless, Akiho goes secretly to the jewelry store where the theft took place. Later, a safe at a jewelry store in Roppongi is broken into. Stolen from the safe is the diamond called "Besu". The "Besu" is one of three diamonds that makes up the "Kuraida Family's Three Sisters". The other two diamonds are "Ani" and "Kyasari". The diamond "Ani" was stolen from the jewelry store in Shibuya, that occurred a few days earlier. Several people believe the two diamond thefts were done by the same person(s), but Akiho mentions the techniques used by thieves are different. Yet, Akiho believes there must be a connection between the two cases. ~~ Based on the novel "Kakusho" by Bin Konno.

Escape Captivity 3: The Beautiful Sisters' Law of Submission
When her older sister’s son is kidnapped, Kotomi, who is determined to help her and her brother-in-law, goes against the kidnapper’s demand and notifies the police. The detective (Keisuke) in charge of the case surrounds the ransom drop-off location to make the arrest, but the kidnapper never shows up and the son is never seen again…Two years later, Kotomi gets married to a man named Makoto. Her sister and her husband pay Kotomi a visit to throw a party and celebrate this wonderful occasion. That night, the two sisters, who had grown apart since the kidnap incident, slept alone together.Kotomi is awakened by an alarm clock, only to find out that she is not in her room, but in a ruined deserted factory with only her underwear on and limbs tied. Next to her lies her sister tied up in the same fashion. In front of the two sisters calling for help appears a man wearing an ominous mask. The man’s deranged game begins as he repetitively violates the sisters.

Their fanbase has swelled in recent years and grown accustomed to this live incarnation (the Secret Chiefs 3 bootleg scene is thriving), and they demand an official release! At the show, Secret Chiefs 3 performs a set of both familiar and as-yet-unreleased music. The line-up includes Ches Smith (Xiu Xiu, Marc Ribot's Ceramic Dog), Shahzad Ismaili (who also plays with Graham Haynes, Laurie Anderson, and Tom Waits), Timb Harris (Estradasphere), Rich Doucette, Peijman Kouretchian, and Jai Young Kim.
